If I created a customer manually and then he order something online I am getting 2 customers but in reality they are one. Is there an option to merge them to avoid duplications? Also it would be nice if the email subscriber not to be checked by default since most of the customers wont be a subscriber, it would be preferable by manually check it myself.
Thank you.
WooPOS identifies customers by email address. If you entered the same email address, you should not have duplicates. In case you do, I have just added a merge transaction function. This will merge transactions from one customer to another, and make one of the customers inactive. Please note you cannot delete a customer, but you can make a customer inactive. Inactive customers will not show up in customers’ list by default.
I’ve also set email subscriber to NO by default, please get the upgrade.
Oh I see. I have not assigned an email adress to one of the customers. I tested the merging function and works great thank you very much.
