This article provides information about how to install the WooPOS Count application on your android device.
You can download the app from Google Play Store by searching WooPOS.
If you don’t have internet access on the scanner, you can plug-in scanner to the computer which is running WooPOS. In WooPOS when you upload your SKU information to the scanner it will also push the WooPOS Count installation application.
Enable Media Device MTP option if you do not see the device as a connected media in Windows explorer. While you are uploading SKU list to the scanner, select YES to upload Android inventory count program as well.
If you have connection issues you can manually transfer the .apk file to the scanning device.
The file you want to transfer to the scanner is titled “WooPOS-Inventory-Count-Android-Installer.apk”. While the scanner is connected to the computer you can manually drag and drop the file directly into the root of Internal Storage location of the scanner.
On the android device select the app drawer, a list of installed applications will then be displayed. Navigate through them until you find a “File Explorer” or “File Manager” or “AnExplorer” application like the one shown below. You will find a file titled “WooPOS-Inventory-Count-Android-Installer.apk”. Select this file to install the WooPOS Count App.
Choose the option to install after selecting the file.
After the installation has finished you can choose the option to open the application right away.
IMPORTANT: Make sure to adjust the device scanner settings to have successful scan results.
