Detailed sold item listing vs Gross Profit by Date
So some customers might be comparing reports, and they would say things such as These totals do not match (ie. between Detailed sold item listing and Gross Profit reports).
The reason for this is because the gross profit reports only counts invoices, while Detailed sold item listing counts every transaction type ( Special orders, Layaways, Quotes etc).
To match the numbers, you can build a query to filter out transactions other than invoices like this:
