  4. Selling Items During Inventory Count

**The general inventory count guide can be found here.**

Inventory count quantity should reflect the inventory quantity of the snapshot time. Any items sold after creating your inventory snapshot, but before they have been counted must be added to your count using a manual input batch. This can be done in two ways:

1. Using the Quick Add Item area to manually enter the item’s code (press Enter key) and the quantity of the item before any was sold, and then click Add Item.

2. Or if you already have the SKU added to your batch, but the quantity was counted after the sale, you can edit the quantity counted to reflect your original quantity.

Again, Inventory count quantity should reflect the inventory quantity of the snapshot time. Any items sold after the inventory snapshot and before they have been counted should be added to the count. Any items sold after they have been counted should not be added to the count.
